The Sky Hooks Peanut Motor

or SHP for short, is a veritable powerhouse for tiny airplanes having 12" or 13" wing spans and areas of 38 sq. inches to 50 sq. inches.It comes with a 3-1/2" propeller which must be cut down to about 3-1/8"for best performance. This is the little motor that consistently gave us flight durations better than 5.5 minutes, using 2 x 50 mAh cells, in a 14"all wood aircraft (no covering), in the cool of the evening at Geneseo.

This little gem is also available as the SHP-IF-PACK, with a 3-1/8" prop, a bag of all the parts for a wiring harness (including shrink tubing) and a plan for a profile version of the Anderson Greenwood light plane. A speed trimmer, to keep the plane out of the rafters during indoor flights, is also included as is a 2-cell 50 mAh battery pack.
