How Online Blackjack is Played
Online Blackjack is a game that is played between the individual players and the
virtual dealer in the software. The object of the game is the same as in offline
Blackjack in which the player has to get their cards to total to as close to 21
as possible. If the total does go over 21 then the player goes bust and automatically
loses.
The game starts when the player is dealt two cards face up and the dealer two cards,
one card face up and one card face down and hidden. Once the player has received
their cards they can choose to take another card to increase the cards total to
closer to 21 or they can stand and choose not to take any more cards. The dealer
will then receive cards until they either have a total of 17 – 21 (they will stand
if they reach this) or until they bust – whatever comes first!
